The Israeli, Polish and German co-production “Igor and the Cranes’ Journey” just recently joined Sola Media’s family line-up and starts off with a significant world premiere at TIFF. The film’s beautiful story, woven around the theme of migration, tells about an estranged father and son who are brought together by a young crane named Karl as they trace a family of birds on their migratory journey from Russia to Africa and has already inspired many festival programmers. Igor’s festival journey will lead him from TIFF to Chicago in the USA, Cinekid in the Netherlands, Gijon in Spain, Cinewest in Australia and to many more places…
