Short Synopsis
Being small doesn´t make life easy for little ten-year-old Victor and his friends, who not only have to face a world full of stern grown-ups but also the town bully Freddy Frogface. When a circus comes to the sleepy little town, Victor is thrilled at having the chance to perform in a talent show with his dog Sausage. Yet Freddy soon comes up with a sinister plot of his own to spoil Victor´s plans...

The tale of how Victor and his friends manage to outsmart the town bully and stand up for themselves again and again in an imaginative, ingenuous and yet determined way makes this movie a funny and quirky must-see for the whole family!

Freddy Frogface is a film about being small in a world where everyone else seems big. It teaches an important lesson about not being a bully. But most important it is about the courage to stand up for oneself no matter what the odds!

The creative team
The film is directed by director Peter Dodd, who previously worked on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Sam Fell’s The Tale of Despereaux, and voice director Gert Fredholm, who directed the live-action feature Lille Virgil og Orla Frøsnapper.

The creative producer is Erik Wilstrup who has wide experience in 3D animation.  Nina Crone -The World of Buster  (Bille August, 1984), Freud leaving home (Susanne Bier, 1991) Sunshine Barry & the Disco Worms (Thomas Borch Nielsen, 2008) of Crone Film is producing.

OLE LUND KIRKEGAARD
The first children’s book by Ole Lund Kirkegaard (1940-1979), Lille Virgil was an overnight success. Kirkegaard’s capability to write in solidarity with his readers plus his own cheerful, naïve illustrations quickly gave him a wide readership. He mainly writes about interaction between children and adults and his protagonists are often what we would call anti-heros.
