Splendid´s Polyband acquires German rights to Film and Music Entertainment's wild life docu THE TURTLE´S SONG from SOLA MEDIA Munich based Polyband Medien GmbH, a 100 % subsidiary of public listed Splendid Medien AG, Cologne has acquired all rights for Emmy Award winning director Nick Stringer´s feature length documentary following the epic journey of a baby loggerhead turtle. Produced by leading UK production house Film and Music Entertainment, The Turtle’s Song is a theatrical documentary feature film and tells the story of a little loggerhead turtle, who follows in the path of her ancestors on one of the most extraordinary journeys in the natural world. Born on a beach in Florida, she rides the Gulf Stream all the way to
the frozen north and ultimately swims around the entire North Atlantic
to Africa and back to the beach where she was born. But the odds are
stacked against her; just one in a thousand turtles survive the journey.

In 2003 they successfully completed a management buy out prior to the parent company’s delisting in 2004.
