SOLA MEDIA TAKES ON ANIMATION FEATURE LOTTE FROM GADGETVILLE Solveig Langeland's German based sales outfit Sola Media has taken world wide sales on children's animation feature LOTTE FROM GADGETVILLE. LOTTE is presently in production and is set for an international release in early 2006. The feature is based on the hit children's animation TV series which is sold in more than 25 territories in Europe, Asia and South-America. Both children and lovers of animation can look forward to seeing characters such as "Lotte the dog, Bruno the cat, Albert the rabbit and introducing Susumu the Japanese bee" on the big screen for the first time. The film is produced by Riina Sildos at EEsti Joonisfilm in Estonia in co production with Rija Films from Latvia, with the support of the European Media Program, Eurimage and national financing bodies. Heiki Ernits have directed several shorts and won festival prizes from
Brisbane to Ottawa. Their first feature will reflect in a non-violent
manner the choices facing children, stressing the importance of creativity
and learning in life. Humour and unconventional characters are dominant
in LOTTE FROM GADGETVILLE. LOTTE comes with enormous merchandising opportunities as the characters are a known and loved brand by children across the world. The deal was negotiated by Riina Sildos of Eesti Joonisfilm, Solveig Langeland of Sola Media and Beatrix Wesle of Atrix Films.
