Since 2004, Beatrix Wesle is co-operating on world sales
and financing with Solveig Langeland. During this time more than 20 feature
films have been sold successfully to international markets. Among them
are “Antares”, “Blind Spot – Hitler´s Secretary”,
“Silentium”, “The Bone Man”, “Tengri”,
Shadow of the Sword” etc. In 2009, the documentary “Turtles:
The Incredible Journey” – a co-production of Beatrix Wesle
and Solveig Langeland enters the cinemas world wide and premieres at Toronto
and Rome Film Festival. In 2009 Beatrix Wesle produced “The Two Horses of Genghis Khan” with Byambasuren Davaa. With Atrix Films, Beatrix Wesle has conducted further sales on “The Story of the Weeping Camel” into more than 50 markets and worked on the financing of “The Cave of the Yellow Dog”. Beatrix serves at Vienna Film Funds as Member of Jury and participated as Decision Maker at European EAVE Programme. Beatrix has worked as Head of Business Communication and New Business at Advanced Medien AG. She also served as Head of Theatrical Acquisition at Tobis Filmkunst, where she reported directly to CEO and owner Kilian Rebentrost. Beatrix holds a BA HONS Degree of European Business from Berlin and Cambridge. |
