Solveig Langeland has about 15 years of vast experience
in the film business and worked in acquisition, theatrical distribution,
international sales and co-productions in Norway and Germany. She founded the international film sales company Sola Media in 2004 with the intention to bring quality films to a global market place. In 2008 she co-produced for Sola Media the animated feature “Sunshine Barry and the Disco Worms” and the nature film “Turtle: The Incredible Journey”. She co-produced “One Last Ride” which was executive produced by Ang Lee, and executive produced “One Love” starring Ky-Mani Marley. She also worked on Mika Kaurismäki’s film “Moro no Brazil” and Arthur Cohn’s Oscar Winning Film “One day in September”. Solveig has a business background with an MBA degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and with a focus on marketing & finance. She has has experience in sales and marketing from BVIP, IBM, BV Film, California Federal Bank and General Motors.
